New York City–based trombonist and composer Weston Olencki specializes in performing and producing experimental music and art. A member of Ensemble Pamplemousse, the Wet Ink Large Ensemble, Rage Thormbones, and People Making Sounds, he has appeared with Ensemble Dal Niente, ICE, the Fonema Consort, and the Chicago Symphony Orchestra’s MusicNOW series, among others. In 2016 he received the Kranichsteiner Musikpreis for performance and a Stipendiumpreis from the Darmstadt Ferienkurse.
