Orchestras

The Northwestern University Symphony Orchestra—together with the Bienen Contemporary/Early Vocal Ensemble, University Chorale, and Northwestern Alumni Choir in its performance debut—present Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony. 

Victor Yampolsky conducts the Northwestern University Symphony Orchestra in Johannes Brahms’s Symphony No. 1 in C Minor, Op. 68.

Donald Nally conducts University Chorale and the Northwestern University Symphony Orchestra in David T. Little's Am I Born, with text by Royce Vavrek. The performance features vocal soloist Aryssa Burrs.

Soprano Alicia Russell (MM18) performs Samuel Barber’s Knoxville: Summer of 1915, Op. 24 with the Northwestern University Chamber Orchestra, conducted by Robert G. Hasty. 

Alan Pierson conducts the Contemporary Music Ensemble and tenor Pablo Laucerica in Matt Marks's A Song for Wade (This is not that song).

Sihao He, a doctoral cello student, performs Antonin Dvorak’s  Cello Concerto in B Minor with the Northwestern University Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Victor Yampolsky.
