Music Academy Faculty Recital

Join the faculty of the Music Academy as they share their talents to raise funds for the Academy’s tuition support program. With a Northwestern history dating back to the late 1800s, the Bienen School’s community music division provides piano, string, and guitar lessons to over 300 children and adults. Ticket sale proceeds will go directly to the Music Academy for tuition support to allow students of all income levels to afford music lessons.

George Gershwin (arr. Logan Skelton), “Someone to Watch Over Me” and “Stairway to Paradise”

Located in the Ryan Center for the Musical Arts, this 400-seat hall features a 40-foot glass wall offering views of Lake Michigan and the Chicago skyline. Undulating walls of Forest Stewardship Council–certified wood, covered with a thin layer of African moabi wood, provide optimal acoustics, and the hall is equipped with state-of-the-art sound and video equipment for recording.
