Bienen faculty flutist John Thorne is former associate principal flute of the Houston Symphony and previously served as principal flute of the San Antonio Symphony. Faculty violinist Yuan-Qing Yu and faculty violist Weijing Wang Michal are members of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. Pianist Kay Kim has appeared in recital with members of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, New York Philharmonic, and Metropolitan Opera Orchestra. They present a chamber recital program ranging from the late Baroque to the 21st century.
