The Derrick Gardner and Kevin Fort ensembles continue the celebration of the Miles Davis centennial with a selection of boundary-pushing compositions by the legendary trumpeter, bandleader, and composer and his collaborators. Over the course of a career spanning nearly five decades, Davis remained at the vanguard of multiple stylistic developments in jazz, including bebop, cool jazz, hard bop, modal jazz, and fusion.
Tickets are $6 for the general public and $4 for students with valid ID.
