Gail Williams, horn; Kay Kim, piano; Julia Bentley, mezzo-soprano

A former member of the Chicago Symphony and Lyric Opera Orchestras, internationally recognized hornist and brass pedagogue Gail Williams is principal horn of the Grand Teton Music Festival Orchestra. She has also appeared with the San Antonio Symphony, New World Symphony, Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center, and Philadelphia Chamber Music Society, among others. Her program includes music by Dana Wilson: the song cycle Love me like a beautiful dream and the world premiere of Lament, written in memory of Bienen School student and horn player Dominic Davis.

Tickets are $8 for the general public and $5 for students with valid ID.

Located in the Ryan Center for the Musical Arts, this 400-seat hall features a 40-foot glass wall offering views of Lake Michigan and the Chicago skyline. Undulating walls of Forest Stewardship Council–certified wood, covered with a thin layer of African moabi wood, provide optimal acoustics, and the hall is equipped with state-of-the-art sound and video equipment for recording.
