Principal harpist of the Lyric Opera of Chicago Orchestra and a founding member of the Chicago Harp Quartet, International Chamber Artists, and La Folia, Marguerite Lynn Williams is acclaimed by Chicago Classical Review for her “seamless technical polish and lyric sensitivity.” Her performing career has taken her to such distinguished venues as the Berliner Philharmonie, Carnegie Hall, Beijing’s National Centre for the Performing Arts, London’s Royal Albert Hall, and Moscow’s Tchaikovsky Concert Hall, and she has worked with such conductors as Daniel Barenboim, Pierre Boulez, Sir Andrew Davis, Lorin Maazel, and Riccardo Muti. Williams appears here in recital with International Chamber Artists, a group dedicated to bringing music performance and education to communities throughout the Chicago area.

Located in the Ryan Center for the Musical Arts, this 400-seat hall features a 40-foot glass wall offering views of Lake Michigan and the Chicago skyline. Undulating walls of Forest Stewardship Council–certified wood, covered with a thin layer of African moabi wood, provide optimal acoustics, and the hall is equipped with state-of-the-art sound and video equipment for recording.
