Northwestern University School of Music
Announces 2007-08 Internet Webcast Schedule
EVANSTON—The School of Music has expanded its Internet
webcast program this year to eight events, including both concerts
and master classes. While two events (November 2, 23)
are closed, two-way webcasts between Northwestern and another
institution and not available to the public, the remaining
six may be accessed via any computer (October 23, 26; February
12; April 7, 26; 1 tba). Highlighting the lineup is a
master class with pianist Richard Goode, 2006 winner of the
school’s Jean Gimbel
Lane Prize in Piano Performance, a $50,000 prize given to a
pianist of international stature. The six events open
to the public may be accessed by visiting music.northwestern.edu/webcast/ or
www.pickstaiger.org approximately
ten minutes before each broadcast begins
