The Northwestern University Henry and Leigh Bienen School of Music invites applications for a tenure-track appointment in Music Education at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor to begin September 1, 2012.

Qualifications:
Completed doctorate in music education and successful public school and college teaching experience. Demonstrated potential (junior applicants) or significant publication and research record (senior applicants).

Responsibilities:
Teach undergraduate elementary general music education and graduate level courses. Contribute to scholarly research and professional leadership in the field.  Advise and supervise graduate research. Participate in School and University service.
