Coordinator, piano program. First prize, Concert Artists Guild Competition; grand prize, Palm Beach International Piano Competition; silver medal and audience favorite prize, Gina Bachauer International Piano Competition. Soloist with Hong Kong Philharmonic, National Symphony, Utah Symphony, Oakland Symphony, Tulsa Philharmonic, and Kansas City Symphony Orchestras. Recitals in New York's Alice Tully Hall and throughout the United States; concert tours of Hong Kong, Japan, China, and Taiwan. Former artist-in-residence, University of Arkansas. Studied with Menahem Pressler at Indiana University, Sascha Gorodnitzki at the Juilliard School, and Nelita True at the University of Maryland.

Research focus on the cognitive basis of musical meaning, integrating music theory with linguistics and anthropology. Recipient, Belle Gitelman Prize for Composition and the Ball Dissertation Year Fellowship. Presented papers at meetings for the Society for Music Theory.

Principal harpist, Lyric Opera of Chicago. Active as soloist, chamber musician, and recording studio musician, playing concert harp, Irish clarséach, and double harp. Clinician in both classical and folk styles. Studied with Jill Bailiff Reyes and Edward Druzinsky.

Co-Coordinator, winds and percussion program. Former principal clarinetist and featured soloist with New Orleans Symphony, later known as Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra. Member, Brevard Music Center Orchestra. Tours with the Texas Opera Theater and the Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra. Regularly performs each summer as principal clarinet at the Brevard Music Center. Solo recitals throughout the U.S., Europe and Korea. Guest artist, Seoul Philharmonic Clarinet Festival and Idaho/Montana Clarinet Symposium. Former member, Timm Wind Quintet. Studied with Loren Kitt, Larry McDonald, Karl Leister, and Robert Marcellus. Former faculty, Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music, Louisiana State University, Loyola (LA) University and Tulane University. Artist/clinician for Buffet clarinets. Legere reed artist. Written articles for Clarinet magazine.
