The Bienen School of Music sponsors 16 major ensembles, several of which are open to non-music majors as well as members of the Evanston community. Each organization offers approximately three major performances each academic year.

Placement in ensembles is based on a performance audition, and priority is given to students fulfilling degree requirements for their major.
