EVANSTON—The School of Music has expanded its Internet webcast program this year to eight events, including both concerts and master classes. While two events (November 2, 23) are closed, two-way webcasts between Northwestern and another institution and not available to the public, the remaining six may be accessed via any computer (October 23, 26; February 12; April 7, 26; 1 tba). Highlighting the lineup is a master class with pianist Richard Goode, 2006 winner of the school’s Jean Gimbel Lane Prize in Piano Performance, a $50,000 prize given to a pianist of international stature. The six events open to the public may be accessed by visiting music.northwestern.edu or www.pickstaiger.org approximately ten minutes before each broadcast begins
