A frequent recitalist both in the United States and abroad, Margaret Kemper is the past national president of the American Guild of Organists. She is currently organist and director of music at the Presbyterian Homes in Evanston and organist at the Kenilworth Union Church. A Fulbright scholar with André Marchal is Paris, Kemper also studied with Arthur Carkeek at DePauw University and Barrett Spach at Northwestern, as well as with Marie-Claire Alain and Anton Heiller at the Academy for Organists in Haarlem, the Netherlands.
