Coordinator, Conducting and Ensembles and Director of Bands. Mallory Thompson is conductor of Symphonic Wind Ensemble and the Waa-Mu Show and teaches graduate and advanced undergraduate conducting. She is a frequent guest conductor and conducting teacher at the Aspen Music Festival, Interlochen, Dallas Wind Symphony, and the United States Army Band and has recorded for Summit Records. Thompson’s honors include being named a Charles Deering McCormick Professor at Northwestern. She was formerly on the faculties of the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music, University of South Florida, and Oberlin Conservatory.
